He advised across a variety of sectors, but for the last 12 years at KPMG he led KPMG UK’s Private Sector Healthcare and mid-market Life Sciences practice across all service lines.
Roger advised on over 100 transactions in the Health & Life Science sector, in the UK, USA, Germany, France, Australia, Egypt. Clients ranged from early stage biotechs to large national and international healthcare and pharma businesses, Private Equity and banks. Deal size £10m-£1bn.
Subsectors include aged care, hospital based care, mental health, children’s care & education, diagnostics, imaging, pharmaceuticals, pharmacy, biotech, pharma services, animal health, health technology. Transaction types include acquisitions, disposals, IPOs, refinancing.
Roger served for over 10 years on KPMG’s Global Healthcare Steering Committee, which drives strategy and growth across the firm’s international healthcare practice of 45 countries. He managed and co-ordinated both domestic and cross-border Deal Advisory strategy and collaboration. This role provided valuable insight into healthcare systems in a wide variety of geographies including the UK, USA, most of Western Europe, parts of Asia and Africa, and the Middle East.
